Canals In Venice Beach
Did you know there were canals in Venice Beach? It’s a very small area filled with magnificent houses and worth your time to visit if you are in the area. There is only one way in and out of this area which is on Dell (off of Washington Blvd). When you turn on Dell it is a one way street and there really is no where to park so if you want to walk around the area, it’s best to park your car outside of this neighborhood then walk into it.
Right now the canals are very dry, I have never seen them this low before but since there has only been about 1 inch of rain in Los Angeles over the past few months the amount of water makes sense.
You can take a walking tour of the area but I think it’s much more interesting to just walk around and explore on your own. This way, you don’t have to be at the mercy of anyone else’s timetable, you can meander leisurely at your own pace and enjoy the scenic environment.
