Hello There,
I’m Roni Faida
(Pronounced Fi-e-duh)
I’m a trilingual travel expert and a former tour guide who is now traveling for fun and sharing my adventures and advice with you.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I’ve traveled across the globe for more than three decades. Initially, my blog was a way to keep my loved ones updated on my adventures. Over time, it’s evolved into something more impactful—a digital space filled with travel wisdom to support fellow adventurers (and would-be adventurers!) with exploring the world. I hope the insight and advice I share will enrich your journeys, and make them more memorable.
Why I Roam…
In 2012, stopped being a Tour Director and focused on traveling for fun. Working for American Airlines allowed me to travel the world for a fraction of the cost. This has given me an opportunity to curate a life I don’t need a vacation from. Travel isn’t just a passion; it’s my way of life. It’s about laughter, positivity, and soaking in the richness of diverse cultures. It’s my therapy, my teacher, and my endless adventure.
Home Sweet Home
When I’m not traveling, you’ll find me basking in the charm of Charlotte, North Carolina—my sanctuary of southern hospitality. Here, I’m a proud homebody, cherishing quiet moments at home and quality time with friends who are like family.
I am able to be all that I am because of the strong foundation my parents provided for me. It was their fierce love and support that allowed me to thrive, and they taught me that I could do anything I wanted with the life I was given.
Becoming the Travel Guru
My parents have encouraged me to travel and explore the world. I followed their advice.
Laughter is a part of my life, I do it often, especially when I’m traveling.
Traveling with natural hair has become my norm, and I feel more comfortable than I ever have in my skin.
Paris has taught me so many lessons. One of which is not to take things too seriously, but in whatever I do, do it well.
I’m a big kid at heart, and even when I’m showing off pretty products, I like to have fun with it.
Fast-Forward 30 years to 2014 when we were traveling to Bratislava, Slovakia.
Dresses are my go-to, whether I’m posing for pictures or running errands.
