Hollywood isn’t the only place where you can see film sets and pieces of movie history. In Peachtree City (30 minutes outside of Atlanta) thanks to the Southern Hollywood Film Tour you can see some of the sets and houses that have been used in different movies and TV shows over the past few years. One of the biggest claims to fame is The Walking Dead, do you watch that show?
Your tour starts out here at the Peachtree Visitors Center. Isn’t the greenery lush?
This house was in the movie “Sweet Home Alabama” with Reese Witherspoon.
The tour takes you through this adorable town called Senoia where you can go to the official Walking Dead Gift Shop. And while you are walking around the quaint town you may as well try some fried oreos. For research purposes I tried them for you and they were pretty good! The only thing missing was ice cold milk and I have no idea why I didn’t buy some. the tour shows you more than just movie items, you get to experience small town life and the beauty that goes along with it!
The Walking Dead Gift Shop is on the corner, you can’t miss it.

Did you know they filmed in Peachtree City?
Atlanta is definitely the Hollywood of the South! I went to the Pinewood Studios opening last winter in Fayetteville and it’s huge!! Plus Tyler Perry studios here. But yet I don’t run into celebs lol
