Have you heard of Chateau Du Vincennes in Paris? It’s a little known gem that doesn’t seem to get lots of tourists and I don’t really know why. It’s a lovely way to see brilliant architecture and it’s really easy to get to.
This castle dates back from the 12th century!
And that’s just me.
If you go make sure to look at the details on the buildings, the craftsmanship is remarkable. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as there is lots of cobblestone that can be hard to walk on. There isn’t a sidewalk so it may be a bit difficult to push a stroller if you are traveling with children.
The metro is Chateau Du Vincennes which is on line 1. Actually it’s at the very end of line 1 and a very short walk to the chateau.
