In August I spent a week in my mom’s timeshare in Villa Del Palmar and what a glorious week it was. I had never been to Cabo San Lucas but I would definitely go back and I would stay here again. The resort was lovely, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
The above pic was the view from my room. Below is where I was was able to lay my head for 7 glorious nights. There was a full kitchen which was wonderful because I went to the store to get the things I needed and I was able to prepare many meals at home.
Check out my carryon bag and tote. Carry on was courtesy of rel=”nofollow”Carryon Free and tote was specially made for me by rel=”nofollow”House of Moruka. I loved them both! And look at the archways in the room, I love details like that. To me it makes the space seem much more like a home than a hotel room.
It might sound like a little thing but I LOVED the fact that there were so many towels. On the other side of the bathroom there were also a bunch of towels and they were soft. The shower had good water pressure and the bathtub was marble. Lush.
Having different seating options in my room was a nice touch. The hotel also comes stocked with so much information on things you can do while you are there. There is a huge book giving you all of the amenities of the resort and they even have a trolly to take you to the other side of the property so you don’t have to walk in all of the heat.
Being so close to the ocean was such a treat. The water was perfection and I had so much fun playing in the waves!
The hotel provides lounge chairs and umbrellas for guests free of charge.
Another view of the resort. Beautiful, right?
Everyday there are multiple activities going on and many of them are family friendly. This hotel did a great job of keeping everyone happy from toddlers to the elderly.
The whale slide was a big hit with kids and adults. I did it once and was very surprised at how fast I went!
On the other side of the whale was a small grotto where the pool and jacuzzi were accessible. There are pools and jacuzzis on the property as well as kiddie pools. But many adults were in the kiddie pools as those were less crowded.
One of the pool options.
Isn’t it beautiful?
This was one of the few times I took a vacation and didn’t hardly do anything. I didn’t explore. I just enjoyed the resort and my friends (if you want to read about her experience traveling with me you’ll find it here). If you are going to Cabo check out this resort. The staff was lovely and I would absolutely stay here again.
