Parks In Palos Verdes – Del Cerro Park

Have you ever heard of Del Cerro Park?  I can’t believe that until I was home last weekend I didn’t even know it existed.  If you take Crenshaw Blvd South until it ends you will run into this park on the right hand side. I have never seen a park with unobstructed panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, have you?

That bench is where I will be sitting the next time I go home!

The flat grassy area is ideal for a picnic, playing games or just lounging around on a blanket. There is a safety fence  around the edge of the cliff so it’s safe for children to wander a bit.

If you bring your dogs they must be on a leash. There is parking but absolutely no where to use the restroom. The closet restroom would be a few minutes drive to Promenade On The Peninsula.

See those stairs? I walked up those bad boys…several times. I’ll talk about that in a later post.

  1. I really enjoyed these pictures. I love when you can wander around somewhere and find something really cute and awesome. And it didn’t look like there were very many people there. Also a perk!
