Cool Cafe In Silver Lake, Los Angeles
So as I was driving around re-exploring parts of Los Angeles I of course wanted some coffee. Do you love coffee? I do. I love the smell of it, the look of it and the taste of it. Coffee makes me happy so imagine my delight as I drove up to Cafecito Organico in Silver Lake. Have you ever been to Silver Lake? It’s a trendy, hip, bohemian neighborhood of Los Angeles that is quickly becoming known for its deference to different and this coffee shop is a testament to that. It’s one of those places that you would pass right by if you aren’t looking for it as you don’t expect such a cool spot to be where it is.
The surrounding area would be considered ‘The Hood’ or ‘The Barrio’ and usually there aren’t many trendy cafes in those areas but Silver Lake is different. I was very pleased that the coffee was good and everything is organic (Have you been to Los Angeles? You can get almost anything organic/vegan/vegetarian). It’s not just a coffee spot, they have a whole story behind who they are and why they do what they do. No need for me to try and rewrite it, check it out here.
This cafe also has outdoor seating and WiFi but the way the sun was shining it was really hard for me to get an accurate picture with my phone (I left the SD card for my camera at home). It’s a cool spot, I think you’ll like it.
