Apartment Rental Chicago
As you know I am crazy about apartment rentals. I had to fly to Chicago for one night and I didn’t need a whole apartment so I rented this room in someone’s house. Does that sound crazy to you? It really isn’t. I rented a room through Airbnb and the room was so lovely!
The decorations were beautiful and I had my own bathroom, entrance, and balcony. I appreciated the details that were in the room and the room was so bright, it was very inviting.
There was a huge balcony but unfortunately it was too cold to sit out there and enjoy it.
Sometimes you end up renting a room from some really nice people. My hosts were a cool couple and I ended up talking to the wife for quite a while when I first got there. I had a bit of a cold and she offered to make me tea which she served me in bed, wasn’t that nice! I felt totally safe and the room only cost me $95 for the night. There is no hotel in Chicago that I could have gotten access to a full kitchen, a huge balcony with my own entrance and be served tea in bed for that price.

I love renting apartments. Generally I do it overseas, but I will be doing it more domestically in the US this year 😀
Looks like getting that room for a few days was a lot nicer than your average hotel room. I love finding small BnBs so I’ll take a look at that site the next time I go on vacation. It would be great to find an apartment like that for someone moving to Chicago.
