Apartment #1 and a few shots of Quito
Ok, so this is the apartment we are in now. It’s not bad, it’s very clean but it just wasn’t what we were promised. I talked to the landlord and she will be moving us to the 3 bedroom on Sunday.
One thing I wasn’t expecting was how tired I was going to feel. This high altitude is no joke, Quito is over 9,000 feet above sea level. I didn’t do much today, walked around a bit but I had to sit down after a while when I had to walk up stairs or inclines. I mean, I workout and am in pretty good shape but this altitude is crazy.

See this hill? I have to walk up that to get to the store. With the high altitude walking up any incline takes much more work.
This is milk and it’s in plastic. I’m not understanding what they do with the package once they open it cause there is no closure. Hhhhmmm…
This is the store I went to today, so modern, it was like a better version of Walmart.
This is a bit blurry but I just wanted you to see how clean and modern the store was. I had no idea what to expect from Quito, but this store was in a huge mall. As I was walking thru the mall I heard Robin Thicke on the sound system and saw many stores that I see in the States. Not at all what I was expecting.
I don’t know what these were. This guy in front of me was delivering them to a store. Some type of snack I’m guessing.
I have NEVER seen adult diapers advertised like this.
