Have you thought about using a vacation rental instead of a hotel? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking hotels, there is nothing wrong with them. But I do love vacation rentals and this house in Costa Rica was particularly lovely.
I found this one on VRBO.com. It was in Quepos and directly on the beach. Every morning I was awakened by the sounds of the ocean (which seriously, is the BEST way for me to wake up). I actually would wake up at about 6am because the weather was warm and so was the water and there is nothing more I love to do than play in the ocean.
Anyway, the house had 4 bedrooms and plenty of room for me, my mom and my niece. We all had a ball and this house was perfect. I don’t have any pics of the inside, I don’t know why. Seriously, I have no idea why I didn’t take any pics on the inside (I was probably too busy swimming). The last pic is an example of the meals that were prepared for us by the caretaker or the home. Her cooking was divine and we loved every bite of everything she made.
I would love to go to Costa Rica someday! We almost always do vacation rentals thru VRBO instead of hotels. I love the fact that you can cook…we find that it actually saves us a lot of money to do it that way.
