Where else would you see a bike rack like the one below except in an area like Kensington? Kensington is one of those quirky areas that should be on your list of things to see while in Toronto.
Kensington is a small funky neighborhood filled with shops, restaurants, coffee spots, and anything original you can think of. It’s not a large area and very easily walkable and accessible by public transport. I was here on a weekday and it was around 10am so the area wasn’t filled with people which I was happy about because it allowed me to get some clear shots of the area which is right next door to Chinatown. I hope you enjoy them.
As you know, I’m a sucker for great graffiti and it is plentiful in Kensington.
Or if spices are more your thing, you have an array of choices.
So these men sitting at this table were quite attractive, I stood there and took a bunch of shots so I would be able to stare at them for a little while longer through my lens. I know, I know, I’m so cheeky.
Would you consider this hat to be quirky and different? It is just the type of thing to be sold in this area.
And then right off of Kensington Avenue there were several beautiful tree lined streets. Aren’t the trees lush?
Is there a quirky area you love to visit?
