I’m normally not a big fan of snow but somehow walking around while it is snowing in Paris makes me happy. There is something about Paris that no matter the weather, everything in this city is just spectacular.
I took all of these shots today as I was walking around which was a bit difficult to do because the snow was coming down hard and fast. It’s so cold! thankfully before I got here I checked the weather which said there was 100 percent chance it was going to rain today. No problem, I brought my rain boots. Thankfully they double as snow boots because the weather forecast said absolutely nothing about snow.
Before I travel I always check the weather to make sure I am packing the correct clothing. I was talking to a girl on the plane ride over here and she said she checked the weather a week ago and it was sunny, which is why she had no clothes for this intense cold. Checking the weather a week in advance won’t help you, it is always best to check it the day before.
In this picture directly below, can you see how the snow is falling sideways? It was so windy and the direction I was walking in the snow was hitting me directly in my face. Thank goodness I had an umbrella.
The next few pics I took this evening, I couldn’t believe how hard the snow was still coming down and how icy the roads were. There were very few cars out, as people seemed to be heeding the warnings given on French TV to not drive their cars if at all possible.
I was literally standing in the middle of the street when I took the following two pictures. I wasn’t even rushing because there were hardly no cars anywhere.
Have you ever walked your dog while it was snowing?
