Have you ever gone to a restaurant and after your meal is over you are looking around trying to figure out where all the food went? That’s what happened when I went to Roost in Greenville, South Carolina.  Greenville is 100 miles from Charlotte and well worth the hour and a half drive.  I love it when restaurants have super fresh ingredients, and it makes me love a restaurant even more when they use local farmers. Roost does both and the result is an exquisite tasting experience. You can really taste the difference when a restaurant cares about the food they put on your plate, don’t you think?

Roost is right next to the Hyatt Regency and if you order room service, you will be choosing from the room service menu provided by Roost. Oh, and do you need to follow a gluten free diet? No problem, they will happily accommodate you.

Back to the food. Seriously, as I was sitting there eating I was so happy that these luscious flavors were in my mouth but then sad at the same time because my food was disappearing faster than I wanted.

If you find yourself staying at The Hyatt or walking down North Main Street and you need a place to eat, please stop at Roost. Your taste buds will thank you.
