Breakfast is my favorite meal and when I stumble upon a great place to eat I love sharing it with you. As you know I normally have food pics when I talk about a restaurant but I don’t have any for this post today. Why not? Because my pictures didn’t come out looking as delicious as the food was so I can’t post them. But I hope I’ve earned your trust enough by now so that you know I wouldn’t be talking about a restaurant if I didn’t think it was truly delicious, and breakfast in Downtown Los Angeles at The Nickel Diner was DELICIOUS.
When I was in Los Angeles last week I ate breakfast here and it was really good. I had Huevos Rancheros (yummers) and my mom had a Quick Pick 3 and both of us were very happy with our choices.
There is limited parking on the street but there is a huge parking lot next to the restaurant but you have to pay to park (which is very normal in Downtown Los Angeles).
The Nickel Diner is one of those places that if you don’t know it’s there, you won’t know to go. It’s right in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, just a small hole in the wall with quirky decor and good food. It’s on Main street between 5th and 6th, down the street from Pershing Square. If you are in Los Angeles and want a good meal, make Nickel Diner one of your stops.
