Minga Restaurant In Buenos Aires, Argentina

I had so much fun when I was in Buenos Aires and one of those great evenings took place at a restaurant called Minga in Plaza Palermo Viejo. Minga is located in Palermo, a trendy neighborhood in Buenos Aires (Think of Soho in New York, Noda in Charlotte, or Venice in Southern Cali).

  You may already know how much I love DK Eyewitness Travel Guides, as I’ve written about them before. Can you see the book next to me on the table? I had the DK Eyewitness Top 10 Travel Guide Buenos Aires which helped me navigate the city.  I was in Buenos Aires in 2010 so when I say I use them, I really mean it!

There were three of us and we each ordered a meal, drinks and a bottled water and the total was 175 pesos ($46.00). The portions were large and very flavorful, and the meal was tasty.  But the best part was being able to hang out with a couple of my girlfriends in a foreign city. Isn’t it great when you enjoy a lovely meal with your friends?
