When I was in Rome a few years ago for a girlfriend getaway we did lots of walking. As we were walking down one street I noticed all of these tables yet I didn’t see a restaurant which I thought was odd. Plus, this was just an alleyway and I hardly expected to see a line of tables filled with people.
One of the things I find intriguing about Europe is that you can walk down a small little street and find the most unexpected surprises. Would you ever think there would be a small restaurant with all of these tables outside of this building?
It took me a few moments to figure out which restaurant the tables belonged to and when I looked and saw this picturesque building I just started smiling. Don’t you think this is beautiful?
I don’t put many pics of me on my blog so here I am with my two friends I traveled with in Rome. Just so you will have some idea of who I am talking about when I mention my girlfriend getaway in Rome.
I was in Rome in December. I didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the outdoor cafes but I enjoyed myself just the same.
