How To Incorporate Travel Into Your Home With Lamps Plus!

Did you know you can use Lamps Plus to incorporate travel into your home? One of the lovely things about travel is you don’t have to be on a plane to appreciate a destination, you can use your personal travel pics (or any pic you find) to keep travel in your home 24/7. As you know, Paris is one of my favorite cites and I travel there every year (and have since 2001). It’s my happy place. So naturally when I had the chance to decorate my guest room the first place I thought of was…you guessed it! Paris.

I started with a few pictures that I love of Paris. It was super inexpensive to get them enlarged and I used decorated clips to hang them on a wall. The pictures on this wall lean towards the silver color of the clocks they are hanging between. 

I’m more of a simple elegance kind of girl and not an “in your face” eye for design. As you look at the video and the pictures you can see the subtle touches around the room. Don’t you just love this globe? It’s splendid next to the Paris box and silver tray. They all sit on top of the accent tables (I have two in the room). 

This is the focal piece of the room and probably the first thing my guests will see when they walk in. I have three pictures of the Eiffel Tower surrounding this piece because the color of the wall art is reminiscent of the iron work found at Eiffel.
