I was really impressed with Toronto and all it has to offer. I didn’t get to spend a bunch of time sightseeing but the little free time I had was well spent. One afternoon I was walking around exploring my neighborhood and I came across Harlem Restaurant on Queens Street West.
I was intrigued by the name because what in the world did a restaurant in Toronto know about Harlem? Well, I still don’t know the answer to that question because I didn’t get to hear any of the live music they had at night but I was able to eat there and boy oh boy, I’m so glad I did because the mushroom melt I had (that’s the picture above) was extremely good and every bite was like a party in my mouth.
I thought the decor was funky, check out the chandelier. Cool, right? And look at the menu! Have you seen a menu shaped like an album?
I really enjoy drinking tea, did I tell you that before? Well, the waitress brought me a huge pot of tea which made me really happy.
Harlem restaurant is in Toronto but it’s not in the center of town. However, it is easily accessible by tram or bus or you can walk there if you are staying in town. It’s not far away and it’s worth a trip, my meal was very satisfying.
