It seems that no matter where I go, I always see graffiti. I never expect to see it but I have to say when the graffiti is more like street art it’s a welcomed surprise. These pictures were all taken in Bratislava, Slovakia (do you know where that is? Eastern Europe).  I don’t know what any of it means, or if there is any significance to it, but I do like the murals.  I thought you would enjoy seeing something that you may not have thought you would see. Isn’t that one of the perks of traveling (or reading a travel blog?).

Do you notice graffiti, murals or street art when you travel? Do you like graffiti or does it ruin a building for you?

  1. I think that sometimes it can be beautiful but then other times it’s just terrible. Here is California more times than not, it’s terrible AND gang affiliated.

    1. Yep, I’m with you. I’m from Los Angeles and sometimes it’s magnificent but then other times it’s just a hot gang-related mess. Thanks for commenting!

  2. Hi! Thanks for writing these articles about Bratislava. I love that city and just would like to mention that Braslava (the capital of Slovakia) is central Europe 😉
