If you are in the L.A. area and you want a quaint cafe then look no further than the Casbah Cafe in Silverlake (a neighborhood in Los Angeles). It’s one of those local spots with tons of charm and it’s decorated beautifully. Not only can you get coffee, tea, and food but they have a shop upstairs with loads of variety.
There is also outside seating and they’ve done a great job of giving you privacy even though you are sitting on the corner of a very busy street.
I started out with a cup of coffee and just watched a bit as locals came and went. The cafe had steady traffic but wasn’t too crowded. Because the cafe always had people in it I couldn’t get a good shot of the seating areas but it’s a lovely space!
One thing I really appreciated is they have real silverware and dishes, no plastic anything if you are eating or drinking inhouse.
There are several menus from you to choose from and they have a ton of variety.
I had a spinach feta cheese omelette and I devoured it.
