Bryant Park In New York City

Have you been to Bryant Park? It’s one of those places in New York that I never really thought about going to because it seemed like it was really touristy.  The only thing I knew about it was that it was the hot spot for  Fashion Week.  I was pleasantly surprised to find such a picturesque park with so many options of things to do. Bryant Park has done a fantastic job of giving you many  options of enjoyment within the park such as :

1. ping pong

2. chess and backgammon

3. petanque

4. reading room

5. a carrousel

6. live music

Those are just a few that I saw while I was walking around the park.

As you can see from the pictures, there are ample places to sit and eat/relax/talk and you can even bring your own food and a blanket and have a picnic on the lawn. Wouldn’t that be a nice way to spend an afternoon?

See that guy in the suit playing below? HOLY MOLY he was so fine! I wanted to walk up to him and say, “Hi honey! Have you been looking for me?” but I chickened out.
