Using the bathroom while traveling can be tricky and I know what you’re thinking. “Why is Roni showing me a picture of a toilet?” There is a reason. See the seat cover on it? That is a very normal occurrence in the USA as many states have laws that all bathrooms have to supply seat covers for its patrons. This is not true in other countries.
Before I moved to Spain I lived in California. While in California it was so normal to reach for a seat cover, they are literally in every bathroom you go in. However, I was very surprised when I got to Spain and there was no seat covers in the bathrooms. Anywhere. I learned how to squat like a pro. Sometimes I would take a bunch of toilet paper and lay it out on the seat so I could save myself from squatting. So, if you are planning a trip to other parts of the world, I don’t want you to be shocked if you walk into the bathroom and you don’t see any seat covers. It’s ok, that’s their normal.
I always squat lol! I think I’ve used a seat cover maybe twice my whole life. But it’s nice to know not to always expect them!
I’ve gotten accustomed to squatting as well, there aren’t always seat covers in Charlotte. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
