What kind of sandwich do you think that is? It’s pear and brie with almonds. My friend has it every time she comes here and says that it is delicious, as is everything at Baguette Bistro in Burnaby, Canada. Burnaby is a suburb of Vancouver, not too far away with the sky train
I love breakfast and I will eat it almost any chance I get so I ordered the duck confit omelette which had potatoes, duck confit, cheese, and onions. It was scrumptious.
We didn’t have wine but there was plenty to choose from. But as you can see from the pics below, we did have dessert. There were 4 adults and we had 3 desserts and shared them between us. We also ordered a crème brûlée but I think we ate that too fast before I could get a decent shot if it.
I doubt this bistro is in a tourist book, but it was a delicious meal. We had to wait a while to get a table because the place is small and it is constantly filed with people. But even if you have to wait, it’s totally worth it and the staff speak French which is always a welcomed treat!
