This is my latest airbnb rental. I was in Washington DC a few weeks ago and I rented a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom high rise condo in the heart of Washington DC. It was a security building and the condo was on the 6th floor. The owner was super easy to deal with and quickly answered any email I sent. I never actually met him which is very normal when you rent from Airbnb but the owners give you all the information you need in order to get into the apartment.
For this particular apartment I was given a code to enter the front door then walked up the stairs and retrieved the key from underneath the mat. That’s my nephew Thomas, what a handsome little boy, no?
This is the lobby of the apartment.
Inside of the apartment was the FOB I needed to access the front door and the elevator. I rented this apartment for 3 days/2 nights and I paid $280. I think that’s an excellent deal because you can’t find a hotel room with a full kitchen and this much room for the price I paid for this apartment.
I decided from now on I’m going to tell you how much things cost so you can have a better idea of what I mean when I talk about travel being affordable. What do you think about that?
Very nice!! I need to get in the habit of looking into air bnb more!
You should! Airbnb has so many amazing apartments.
