Angels flight

It’s kind of crazy how you can be born and raised somewhere and still find tourist attractions that you have never done before and this is what happened to me when I drove past Angels Flight. I have known about Angels Flight for a while but up until a could of weeks ago I had never done it.  Just shameful!

Angels Flight dates back to the early 1900’s and is less than 300 feet but it’s a cool experience that you shouldn’t miss if you’re going to visit Los Angeles. I found a place to park right out front which was fortunate as parking isn’t easy around this area. Angels Flight is near Bunker Hill in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles and will cost you a dollar to ride up and down the small hill it’s on.

When you get to the top you will be at Water Court at Grand California Plaza. During the summer there are free concerts that you could check out. Getting to downtown is much easier now with the help of the metro and this area is lovely, as I hope I have shown you with the following pictures.

Don’t you think this is cool?

Angels Flight is an unexpected gem in the heart of the city and if you are anywhere near Downtown Los Angeles, make sure and check it out!
